ANTONIO SARPE
Antonio Sarpe is Brazilian, born in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
During her adolescence she became interested in and practiced sports, music, dance, theater and body therapies. She discovered Biodanza in 1979 when she started attending a regular group. She graduated from the Biodanza School in Rio de Janeiro and completed the course in 1984.
THE BEGINNING OF MY JOURNEY
In 1990 he joined the Rio de Janeiro School again, directed by Maria Adela Cremona, becoming a collaborator, coordinator and later director of the School.
He was a founding member of the Rio de Janeiro Facilitators Council, which organized specialization and methodological development courses, encouraging the desire for ongoing learning.

In 1998 he came to Europe for the first time to teach at the School in Germany and at the European Congress in Switzerland. Since then he has worked regularly in Europe and in schools around the world.
In 2002 he was invited to come to the Rolando Toro Biodanza School in Portugal, run by Roberto Mirelman and coordinated by Cristiane Abecassis. He facilitated at the training school and later in orientation workshops for facilitators. The following year he was invited by the facilitator Nuno Pinto to create a project of in-depth experiential learning for students in regular groups. This partnership resulted in the creation of a Biodanza center in Porto.

AROUND THE WORLD
As a teaching facilitator, former director of the Biodanza school in Rio de Janeiro and current director of the Biodanza school in Lisbon (Portugal), he has contributed to the expansion of Biodanza throughout the world, practicing and teaching it as a path to reveal human identity and connect with the universe. He currently resides in Portugal.

Como facilitador didata, ex-diretor da escola de Biodanza do Rio de Janeiro e atual diretor da escola de Biodanza de Lisboa (Portugal), tem contribuído para a expansão da Biodanza no mundo, praticando-a e ensinando-a como um caminho de revelação da identidade humana e de conexão com o universo. Atualmente, reside em Portugal. Em 1990 vinculou-se novamente à Escola do Rio de Janeiro dirigida por Maria Adela Cremona, tornando-se colaborador, coordenador e mais tarde diretor da Escola. Foi sócio fundador do Conselho de Facilitadores do Rio de Janeiro que organizava cursos de especialização e aprofundamento metodológico, estimulando o desejo de aprendizagem permanente. Em 1998 veio pela primeira vez à Europa para dar aula na Escola da Alemanha e no Congresso Europeu na Suíça. Desde então passou a trabalhar regularmente na Europa e em escolas pelo mundo. Em 2002 foi convidado para vir à escola de Biodanza Rolando Toro de Portugal, dirigida por Roberto Mirelman e coordenada por Cristiane Abecassis. Facilitou na escola de formação e posteriormente em workshops de orientação para facilitadores. No ano seguinte foi convidado pelo facilitador Nuno Pinto para criar um projeto de aprofundamento vivencial para os alunos dos grupos regulares. Resultou desta parceria a criação de um núcleo de Biodanza no Porto. Em 2004 obteve autorização de Rolando Toro para fundar a escola de Biodanza do Porto, no norte de Portugal. Em 2005 foi inaugurada a primeira turma da escola de Biodanza Rolando Toro do Porto. Em 2008 assumiu em Lisboa a direção da escola de Biodanza Rolando Toro de Lisboa (Portugal). Decidiu viver em Portugal para se dedicar à direção da Escola e expansão da Biodanza em todo país e no mundo.

ACADEMICS
Clinical psychologist with specializations in Bioenergetic Therapy, Reichian Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Medical Psychology and Psychosomatics. Among his Specializations and Extensions in Biodanza are: the Minotaur Project, Paths of Ecstasy, the Tree of Desires, Identity and the Four Elements, Aquatic Biodanza, Recovering Deep Masculinity, Biocentric Education and Biodanza in Organizations. He is the Pedagogical Director of the SRT Biodanza School in Lisbon (Portugal) for the International Biocentric Federation. He is the author of 3 books, one of which is about this training with the title: “Antonio Sarpe Program for the Creation and Maintenance of Regular Groups”. He created this project about 25 years ago in Rio de Janeiro and since then he has guided facilitators in different countries such as Portugal, Holland, England, Czech Republic, Austria, Spain, Germany, France, Belgium, Brazil, South Africa, Venezuela, Colombia, Russia, Canada, USA and Israel.

In 2004, she received permission from Rolando Toro to found the Biodanza School in Porto, in the north of Portugal. In 2005, the first class of the Rolando Toro Biodanza School in Porto was inaugurated. In 2008, she took over the management of the Rolando Toro Biodanza School in Lisbon (Portugal). She decided to live in Portugal to dedicate herself to managing the School and expanding Biodanza throughout the country and the world.
